An Exam Result Publication Workflow You Can Defend
Results are high stakes
Marks decide futures. A result published before it is verified, or changed without a trail, damages trust that is hard to rebuild.
A reviewable path
- Configure exams, subjects, weightage, and grading scales.
- Seal rosters and capture exam attendance.
- Enter or import marks with validation against the roster.
- Approve the result set before publication.
- Publish, then issue marksheets and transcripts.
Hidden until published
Results should stay invisible to families until an authorised role publishes them. A draft is not a result.
Corrections with a history
Mistakes happen. A correction should keep the previous value and the reason, so the published result is always explainable.
Documents that match the record
Marksheets, grade sheets, and transcripts should be generated from the same record that was published, not re-typed. When the document and the record agree, the result is defensible.
